John Grade was born in 1970 in Minneapolis and currently lives and works in Seattle. He creates large-scale sculptures that are sometimes displayed in museums, or outdoors in nature, and often move from one location to another, where they change and weather over time. The works are temporal and organic and and beautifully preserved in the photographs on his site.
