I started this site as a place to explore different kinds of art, different approaches to the creative process. Right now I'm writing fiction and as a side hobby, I sometimes draw. So, I wondered what the intersection of literature and art would look like, and it led me to discover book art. Just like my recent post on Etch A Sketch artists, it turns out there's a small circle of people using books to create beautiful works of art.
The DaVinci of book art may be Brian Dettmer who has an endless number of gorgeous creations on flickr.

Love these works – they combine two of my favorite ‘things’ – books and art. What a discovery, for you to feature this and for me to find it. Thank you.
