I saw a picture of Dalton Ghetti's amazing pencil carvings on a blog a few months ago and wanted to share his amazing work. He was profiled in a piece in the New York Times back in 2007, which describes Dalton as a resident of Bridgeport, CT, 45 (in '07), who creates these miniature masterpieces as a side hobby. He works for an hour or two a day using only a blade and a sewing needle and some pieces take years to complete. Although he keeps a low profile, he has a Facebook page and hopefully he will keep posting new creations. I think you'll agree, they're pretty awesome.

almost unbelievable. Amazing, took a lot of concentration.

These are fantastic. I would donate all my pencils to Art.

Great idea, to think we throw away all those diamond-in-the-rough pencil stubs.
